SBI PO 2013: 4500 To Get Interview Call For 1500 Posts
Here comes a news that might be a thing to worry for most of the SBI PO 2013 aspirants. According to the latest information received, the number of interview calls will be around 3 times of the number of vacancies. So 4,500 candidates will be called for the SBI PO 2013 interview process.
The number of applicants for SBI PO 2013 has been the highest in the history of BANK PO recruitment process. This time, in SBI PO 2013 , as many as 17 lakhs candidates have registered for the written examination. In the IBPS CWE PO I exam which was conducted in 2011, 14 lakhs candidates had registered which was considered as the highest in bank PO selection. In IBPS, 20 public sector banks participate for recruitment and therefore has more number of vacancies. but in SBI PO 2013 the number of vacancies is only 1500. Considering this fact, the competition is going to be very tough in SBI PO 2013 this year. Out of 17 lakhs aspirants, only 4500 will clear the written test out of which only 1500 will get the offer letter for their dream job.
The written test for SBI PO 2013 will be conducted on 28 April, 2013. The last date for applying for this exam was 23 January, 2013. The overwhelming response of the candidates to the SBI PO 2013 has indicated the interest of the youth in banking sector and government jobs. With IBPS PO exam expected to be conducted in June, 2013, the dream of many aspirants of getting govt. job will be fulfilled. The IBPS PO will have around 22,000 vacancies. All the public sector banks except State Bank of India and its associate banks will participate in this process.
