The social media is abuzz with speculations of the cutoffs of the SSC CGL. 2013. The question papers of both the seatings were relatively easy. Here is the detailed analysis of both the papers.

SSC CGL Tier II 2013 Analysis: Quantitative Ability

There were quite a few easy questions and a few tricky ones as well in this section. There were 28 questions from geometry and mensuration. Few of these were very difficult and had to be ignored. There were 13 questions from percentage, profit and loss which were easier ones. There was one question from statistics as well. An attempt of 75 is very much possible in this section out of which one can easily answer 70 questions correctly.

SSC CGL Tier II 2013 Analysis: English Language and Comprehension

This paper was also relatively easy as compared to the paper of previous year. There were only six questions from antonym and synonym. The error detection questions were also on the easier side. There were as many as 27 questions from direct and indirect speech. Anyone with sound knowledge of grammar and vocabulary can attempt 150 questions correctly.

SSC CGL Tier II 2013 Expected Cutoff: Tier I + Tier 2

Just as the cutoff of the tier 1 exam has increased, the SSC CGL Tier II 2013 cutoff is also set to increase this time around. The expected cutoffs for various categories are as follows. The cutoff for the general category for the interview posts is expected to be around 365 while the cutoff for the non-interview posts is expected to be around 340.
